The night sky
The Milky Way is faint overhead on the clearest nights; the brighter stars and constellations are easy.

We didn’t stay in main house - we stayed in a cottage . Room set up was strange bath tub, shower next to the bed no privacy. Expensive for one night ( it was due to fall fair)
The hotel, food, and staff were wonderful and the location in Micanopy was ideal for a quick getaway
The breakfast was fantastic! The woman who prepared the food was personable and very friendly. We had a wonderful conversation with her. The food was served in courses starting with fresh fruit and yogurt.
I reserved our rooms through booking.com and was not told my room didnt have windows. When I saw the room I realized immediately this wouldn't work. When I complained to staff, I was told I should have reserved the room directly through them. Ultimately it cost me an additional $100.00 to change rooms! This never should have happened and had I known in advance, I could have made other arrangements. By the way, I had reserved two rooms on Booking.com. one for us, the other for friends that came with us.
Fun place with lots of charm.
We had this property recommended to us and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. If you are looking for a fun get away with some great peace and quite this is the place. Staff were great, breakfast was excellent, and the town fun. While you are there take time to visit the historical museum.
If climbing stairs is a problem, book one of the cottages.
Beautiful home, beautiful experience.
Breakfast very good and could not eat all that was served
We are in our 70s and it would have been nice if we were given help carrying our luggage up the staircases to our 3 floor room.
Is very original
Is hard to find
Beautiful home & great breakfast & staff
Breakfast was great!
Website was a little misleading..Thought we were getting a private balcony but it wasn’t really one & it was all closed up with lattice . It was also too expensive for what we got. The lady did say to book directly with them next time & it would be cheaper.
