JamesCouple · October 2026★ 5.0A gem in the heart of Natchez.
Joe made us a delicious multi course breakfast each of the two mornings we stayed there. He provided the breakfast on beautiful tableware and also gave us so much insight into the home, history of the property and his family. We received a private piano concert before dinner one day. It is comparable to staying in a museum. The guest quarters are in a separate cottage with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
While we are not big tv users, the room tv did not work for us. Also, the shower/bathroom could use a bit of updating although everything functioned just fine.
JulieCouple · October 2026★ 5.0Wonderful place to return and stay!
Very private, clean, and comfortable cottage. Phenomenal breakfast each morning! Joseph has taken wonderful care of all our needs each of the 3 times we have stayed here. We will return again!
We did have some mosquitos bother us outside on the porch once but our host did provide bug repellent. I just don’t like to use any type of bug repellent on my skin due to allergies. Other than this we have absolutely no complaints!

The antiquities and central location
FranciscaCouple · August 2026★ 5.0Charming historic home
We had a fantastic stay at this charming historic home; it's like living inside a museum! The house is beautiful, spotless, and in a great, walkable location. Joe was an exceptional host with a wealth of knowledge about the Stone House. His detailed tour about his relatives who once lived here was a highlight, and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him. His dog, Precious, only adds to the property's charm. Besides being a fantastic host, Joe is a wonderful cook. Breakfast was exquisite and beautifully served in the formal dining room. The bed was highly comfortable, and we loved the privacy of having our own cottage. If you are visiting Natchez, we highly recommend staying at the Stone House! - Francisca & Jim
Nothing!! Everything was exceptional!

DaleCouple · June 2026★ 5.0A great short getaway to Natchez.
The host was exceptional in knowledge of the Stone House and his tour was detailed with history of his relatives that lived in the home. He also grew up in the house and returned home in late 1990’s and has restored the home to its current condition. His breakfast was excellent both days and he entertained us with classical piano music. Very comfortable accommodations. A very enjoyable two days.
LarryCouple · May 2026★ 4.5Joe Stone is an excellent host. The evening piano venue was very enjoyable, as were our conversation

CatherineCouple · January 2026★ 5.0The visit was so much more than I could have anticipated. A luxurious stay with exceptional food alongside an historical walk through pre and post civil war era artifacts and stories. The stay was topped off with a classical piano performance. Mr. Stone provides an exceptional experience. I'm definitely visiting again!

JeremyExtended group · October 2025★ 5.0Incredible stay at an incredible property
Loved the ambience of the property filled with art and fine, historic furnishings. The breakfast was exquisite and Joe (and his dog, Precious), were most hospitable. We enjoyed the manicured yard and his recommendations for Natchez. It's clear he loves his family property and is committed to keeping it in amazing condition. Our beds were super comfortable and we enjoyed having the privacy of the guest house.
Communication through booking.com has been a problem. It would be helpful if the host had our cell phone and email in order to contact us in advance with instructions for checkin.
TroyCouple · October 2025★ 5.0Our stay was quiet, very clean, cozy, beautiful surroundings. Mr. Joe exceeded our every need.
The breakfast was delicious. Mr. Joe really out did himself. Our room was very clean and cozy and well decorated with old historical charm. Many beautiful paintings. Our little cottage was well decorated with lots of love and care. Mr. Joe's home was gorgeous inside and out. And can't forget little Miss Precious (Mr. Joe's tiny dog), who greeted us at the door when we arrived and greeted us at the door each morning. Her name fits her to a tee. We will be back.
Can't think of anything he could have done to make it better. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.

I liked everything about the property - Joe was a fantastic host, the place was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and located with easy access to all of Natchez. The breakfast was a real highlight of our whole trip! Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Everything. When you walk up the patios and garden is so inviting. The 2 bedroom cottage is cozy with beautiful antique furniture. The host was happy to show me his family home.
