Joe made us a delicious multi course breakfast each of the two mornings we stayed there. He provided the breakfast on beautiful tableware and also gave us so much insight into the home, history of the property and his family. We received a private piano concert before dinner one day. It is comparable to staying in a museum. The guest quarters are in a separate cottage with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
While we are not big tv users, the room tv did not work for us. Also, the shower/bathroom could use a bit of updating although everything functioned just fine.
Wonderful place to return and stay!
Very private, clean, and comfortable cottage. Phenomenal breakfast each morning! Joseph has taken wonderful care of all our needs each of the 3 times we have stayed here. We will return again!
We did have some mosquitos bother us outside on the porch once but our host did provide bug repellent. I just don’t like to use any type of bug repellent on my skin due to allergies. Other than this we have absolutely no complaints!
Joe was a perfect gentleman, informative and engaging
The antiquities and central location
Charming historic home
We had a fantastic stay at this charming historic home; it's like living inside a museum! The house is beautiful, spotless, and in a great, walkable location. Joe was an exceptional host with a wealth of knowledge about the Stone House. His detailed tour about his relatives who once lived here was a highlight, and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him. His dog, Precious, only adds to the property's charm. Besides being a fantastic host, Joe is a wonderful cook. Breakfast was exquisite and beautifully served in the formal dining room. The bed was highly comfortable, and we loved the privacy of having our own cottage. If you are visiting Natchez, we highly recommend staying at the Stone House! - Francisca & Jim
Nothing!! Everything was exceptional!
Outstanding customer focus by owner, excellent breakfast in a wonderful setting, central location to restaurants and shops in Natchez,.
A great short getaway to Natchez.
The host was exceptional in knowledge of the Stone House and his tour was detailed with history of his relatives that lived in the home. He also grew up in the house and returned home in late 1990’s and has restored the home to its current condition. His breakfast was excellent both days and he entertained us with classical piano music. Very comfortable accommodations. A very enjoyable two days.
