Quiet, relaxing

It was so quiet and natural. The wildlife biodiversity was incredible! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful

I didn't check in until late. But they called to check to make sure I was coming. It took me directly to my little cabin cuz I had never been there before.

I'm used to well water and I had to brew my coffee with tap water, city water, and that was not good at all. However they had provided coffee and filters and snacks so that was nice

Beautiful old Florida 😍

Love this romantic little spot on Cross Creek. We had room #2 this time and it was very nice. Clean and quiet. Bed was pretty comfy. Love that they are pet friendly! And love the delicious Yearling restaurant onsite. Only disappointment was the creek was super low, so no fishing but thats not their fault. I recommend!

We love the location and peacefulness of the area. The restaurant food was excellent. the cabins are comfortable and have your basic needs.

The location and old Florida authenticity of it. The Yearling Restaurant is always amazing!!!!! Especially the catfish dinner!!!!

The lighting could have been a tiny bit better but it was acceptable.

They had great food and a very friendly staff. It was cozy and quiet and we loved sitting on the porch listening to the beautiful sounding birds.

The shower head needed to be higher. I am 5'10 and had a hard time washing my hair it was so low.

Loved the location and the peaceful feeling. Very tranquil. The cabin was lovely, clean and comfortable. After a day at Marjorie kinnan Rawlings state park, this was definitely the place to end the day. So nostalgic. We loved it! Staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful too.

Nothing to dislike at all! There are some beautiful nostalgic and historic signs about the outside area which are beginning to disintegrate. Would be amazing to see them slightly renovated to preserve them for the future. Not over the top but just some TLC.

No place for breakfast on the property

Most relaxing place my husband and I have been to. Great get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life! It exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend! Meet a few nice people! Had some great meals at the restaurant and just enjoyed sitting on the creek watching the wildlife. Eagles, osprey, baby gator, peacocks, and cranes. Best place to get away and relax. I am booking a cabin for our anniversary in November.

The shower had low water pressure, it had no effect on our time there, we still had water to take a shower!!

We love the peaceful, quiet surroundings. We come every year at this time. The yearling food and service is outstanding as always. So nice!! See ya next year!!

We didn't know that the town and restaurant were mainly open on a Thursday thru weekend basis.

Rustic cottages in need of updates.

The location is excellent to explore nearby attractions and parks. The staff was very friendly and responsive.

The property is historic and charming but desperately in need of updates. The Wifi network is extremely slow.
