We loved everything about the Lodge: our room was spacious and clean, we were close to all activities. Great stay!

Very thoughtful setup making it a very comfortable stay for guests. Excellent communication and wonderful location.

What a nice getaway. I wish we had time to join the marshmallow roast at the campfire!

The dirt road in was a little bumpy!

Everything, wonderful place. Plan on multiple nights, you will want it.. Todd And Angie were on grounds and super helpful and informative.. . The grounds itself was fabulous. Hiking trails to river and areas you swear you would be in Jurasic park. Ferns as big as people. Loved it all. Friendly people at firepit for smores. Was great meeting Ana, and Tommy. Fun atmosphere. Saw Denali ,clear to peak ,great visit.

The cabins were lovely but unfortunately we had rain the entire stay. We didn't get to enjoy the fire pit and s'mores nor breakfast as we left early. But very clean and cozy!

Nice little stop on the way to Denali

Very clean and cozy. Conveniently located to town of Talkeetna and also to Denali (broke up the trip from Seward). Tucked in the woods- enjoyed a glass of wine in the screened in porch. Would recommend staying here. Checking in/out and communication with owners was easy.

Great lodging experience!

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and unique lodging experience in Talkeetna, this is it! We were in cabin 4, which is a family cabin with a full kitchen that accommodates up to 4 people. When we arrived, we were surprised to see a sign by the front door welcoming us to the cabin, a cute touch! Inside, the cabin was very clean and well equipped. The extra bed was already made up and there were amenities in the bathroom like body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen was also well equipped including coffee, tea and hot chocolate which was perfect after a chilly and rainy day out and about. We dropped off our luggage and went to walk around the property and check out the lodge. While there, we ran into the lodge managers who are the nicest people! They told us about the local black bear and to keep our eyes peeled for him and that there were s’mores at the fire a little later in the evening. We unpacked a little and went back out to the fire in the evening and enjoyed some wonderful conversation with other guests and the managers and their daughter. Our son kicked a soccer ball around with her and enjoyed his s’mores while the adults chatted. Overall, we wished we had more time to spend here and highly recommend it to anyone who will be traveling to or through Talkeetna!

Great cabins

We only stayed one night but enjoyed the cabins. They were a good size, comfortable beds and very clean.

It is about 10-12 minutes from the actual town on talkeenta so need to drive to restaurants

Only here one night. It meet our needs.

Mosquitoes!! there is a screen porch before door. Caring our stuff in caused the door to be opened mant times. We must of killed over 50 in our room.

I want to stay here for more than one night next time!

Very welcoming as soon as you enter the cabin. The bed was comfortable. There were swivel bar chairs looking out a picture window. It was very clean and had everything we needed.

It is in the woods so there are mosquitoes. That can’t be avoided here.

I loved the layout, the cabin inside and outside, the people, the property was quiet and just what I was looking for for relaxation. The little details from the maps and suggestions in the cabin to the s’mores by the fire pit at night and the name on the cabin. Those little details made the stay special. I can’t wait to come back.

Home Away From Home

This was by far the cleanest cabin we've stayed in during years of travel. It was spotless and smelled of new construction. The on site property manager was AMAZING and treated us like friends from the moment she introduced herself. We enjoyed having the use of the main building with its full kitchen and numerous board games. We rented for two nights and honestly decided to spend more time inside the cabin than initially planned because it was so cozy, clean and comfortable.

We weren't fortunate enough to spot any wildlife on the premises!

Absolutely loved this stay. Host was great! Friendly, welcoming, exceptionally clean and cozy. The location was peaceful and wooded. Trail to nearby creek. Communal bonfire was wonderful. Met some neat travelers. A++

No room for table...ie. sit down meal in cabin...except for outside on porch. Not an issue for us as we only did short overnight stay and didn't need the kitchenette much.

Loved the feeling of being remote but with all the comforts of home.

the staff were super friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area and places to eat. Really enjoyed that they provided an evening get together around the fire with smores. A great chance to meet other travelers and share experiences.
