First time glamping for us was a fun experience

Well laid out. Nice facilities. Tent with shower and toilet was great!

Service was a bit slack. Shower was out of shampoo and body gel … requested that it be serviced, they said they would get on it and also bring fresh towels … never did. The season ends in two weeks, so they may have been a bit “end-of-season” oriented.

It was an incredible stay that all of us enjoyed. If I hadn’t been so tired I would have enjoyed sitting by one of the c

Unique setting and location

We like everything!

I loved being in nature and not bothered. I also loved the views! It was storming when I got there and the stargazing tent was such a wonderful experience especially in the rain, thunder and lighting!

There was a mouse in my toilet when I arrived at 2:30 am. Unsure how it got in there as the lid was closed. The next morning I woke up and went to brush my teeth and didn’t realize the water wasn’t working and I already had a mouth full of tooth paste. Would’ve been nice to get a message of “hey we’re working on the water and it will be fixed shortly”

It was only 10 minutes from Mount Rushmore. Free s’mores in the evening. The food wasn’t bad either . The hotel staff was nice and accommodating for anything you needed . Peaceful evening in the trees and star gazing and a perfect view of Mount Rushmore off in the distance

Glamping near Mt. Rushmore

The location is great--just down the road from the main street of Keystone. The tents are sturdy, the furniture and set up is attractive, the bathroom & shower are nice. When my family had an emergency and had to leave early, the manager and the workers were very helpful.

I honestly did not realize that there wasn't any electricity or air conditioning. I had never "glamped" before, and I just assumed that, if there was a working bathroom & shower, then that meant it had everything. My mistake! We were provided lanterns and small fans to keep in our room. (along with batteries to plug into) This definitely added to the 'theme' of staying in a tent!

Wood burning stove!!!! Had to stay up all night to keep from freezing!!!! If you didn't add wood every hour(yes every hour) the fire burned up fast...

Relaxing, Safe, Comfortable, A+

The canvas tents were very nice - Our view from #58 was absolutely beautiful. warm and cozy on our 36-degree nights

If anything, I am really searching for something, it would be to have sweeteners (Equal or something) for coffee for diabetics.

Over the top from what we expected. If you have the chance please find time to give this style of camping a try!

Very friendly staff, all of them. No one person was in a bad mood or wouldn’t helped if asked. Staff said they felt appreciated and we noticed they were fully staffed for all activities and needs.

Wish we could have stayed more but our trip continued! We will be back!

Always a treat to stay in an Under Canvas tent.

Love the tents, being off grid, and the viewing deck

Fires should last until later. Plastic cups for wine are flimsy.

Staying at under canvas was one of our favorite stays on our multi state road trip. We appreciated the welcome for our f

We liked how each individual tent was secluded in its own way from others

VERY COLD - Someone will have to stay up ALL night to feed the fire, or you will freeze!

That staff was spectacular. Very friendly and helpful. I didn't expect fine dining food but that's what we got. Expensive though. 2 of us was almost $90. The tent was really nice, clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff gave you a ride to your tent.

I was not pleased at all with the heat situation. It's advertised as having heat (a stove). What they don't tell you is that someone has to stay up ALL NIGHT to feed the fire or it will be 33 degrees in your tent in the morning. If you don't have someone with you that can do that, you will have a VERY rough and UNSAFE time driving the next day. We had to get our things and leave at 5am as we were freezing!! Paying over $300 for a late check-in and very early leave is crazy. We couldn't even shower due to the extreme cold. When I camp, I know that is the situation and prepare accordingly. This was unexpected.

The actual size of the tent inside, ample room which was love!

It was pleasant, relaxing and exactly what I’d hoped for

Everything

No complaints, but for my age I think I’d prefer to rent a tent with the bathroom in it for my next stay.

It was lovely and we plan on coming back again to really get a full experience!

We loved being able to see the stars as we slept and we only stayed for a couple days this time but we plan on booking for a longer duration next time.

Next time we will definitely request one king mattress as opposed to 2 mattresses pushed together since my partner and I enjoy cuddling and one of us kept falling into the center divide between the mattresses haha.

Absolutely will be back. I had a great stay, felt safe, and the staff were all very friendly. The s’mores were also a great finishing touch to a great night

Beautiful location - camp sites were closer together than I would have expected.

Their food / cafe - too expensive for just average food. My husband paid $32 for a bowl of spaghetti that would have cost us $10 to make at home. There were also no picnic tables, so they wanted you to over spend at their average cafe. A camp site should always have picnic tables available - glamping or not.

Our stay was pleasant, however, the nights were very cold, because the only heat comes from a wood fire stove. The bed was made, but the remains from the dinner and dishes were not removed from the room. Overall a unique experience, but more rustic than we expected.
