Comfortable stay in a beautiful historical inn
Lovely historic inn with friendly service. The bed was so comfortable with excellent pillows and bedding. The shower was in a bath but was very powerful with lots of hot water. It was a nice bonus to have a bar and garden at this property. There was great choice for drinks and the garden was a relaxing place to enjoy the nice weather at the end of the day. It was also a bonus to find a continental breakfast on offer but unfortunately couldn't enjoy it as we had to leave early.
Rooms have outside windows so street noise can be heard. The air conditioner was also noisy.
perfect
Excellent selection and friendly eating room.
Liked everything about the Chamberlin Inn.
Charming historic hotel
Charming historic hotel. Cute, walkable area. Nice breakfast set up. Lovely open garden space. We booked the Queen suite with the kitchenette. Very nice.
Charming historic hotel that has a friendly staff but could use a couple of improvements.
We enjoyed the common areas and the building and garden (nice view even though too cold to go out). Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Charming old articles about the building. The room was cute and hangars were provided.
The room was extremely small. The clawfoot tub that you have to step into to take a shower is very small and a little difficult to use. The breakfast was not what we expect from continental, no slice of cheese, oatmeal or hard-boiled egg - only bread type items and one kind of yogurt (the only protein in the room). Someone in our group who ate a muffin enjoyed it. But I couldn't find anything I wanted to eat. The bananas were too overripe with black spots to eat. It would be very helpful if someone explained upon our arrival where the heating / cooling unit is. I should have looked behind the heavy curtains to find it but saw the radiator and no thermostat, and just thought we didn't have any individual control, so was very hot all night. I perhaps should have looked more thoroughly, but a note or comment would have been helpful.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Chamberlin! Everything was perfect!
The property was very homey. Loved the room, and the lounge and outside spaces
