Perfect Cozy Inn!

Wonderful stay! If you’re looking for a cozy inn experience this property checks all the boxes. Erica was so helpful and very kind to our two young children.

Our room was spacious and lovely . Loved the cozy homey feeling . Fun to watch the 8 ducks roaming around .The rockers on the porch were awesome . The Inn also has an accommodating patio in the back . Friendly Inn keepers and great country breakfasts well.

Wonderful stay with great rooms, delicious made to order breakfast and even kayaks to borrow.

Comfortable, relaxing, beautiful, well situated. Owners great and friendly. Room was very spacious and inviting. A very lovely Bread and breakfast.

We sent my in-laws here for their 50th wedding anniversary. They came back raving about the place. They loved chatting with the neighbors, meeting some of the other guests, sitting on the porch and the patio, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. They were very impressed by the breakfast and have mentioned it several times since they returned (just five days ago). My mother-in-law said, “I have been at many bed and breakfasts over the years, and this is the first one where I truly felt at home from the moment I stepped in.”

My sister and I had a great time and the Inn was perfect.

The hosts were wonderful. They made our stay special. It was my sister’s birthday and they put a candle in her eggs beni and sang to her. They helped get us a reservation for a boat trip on Squam Lake.

Nothing to dislike.

Our grandson lives in a one bedroom small apartment 10 miles away in Campton, we already know that whenever we’re going

Everything, the room, the dining area, the awesome breakfast and MUFFINS and especially the front porch where we spent almost every morning after breakfast.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property, we had an extremely enjoyable stay.

The perfect place for cozy girls’ weekend. Would absolutely stay again.

Family friendly and fun

We stayed at the Inn on Golden Pond a few weeks ago with our two children and had a wonderful time. The inn is beautiful and the living area is packed with games, coloring pencils, and coloring books for kids. The breakfast is phenomenal, and they have coffee, tea, and muffins available 24/7. We were the only family staying in the inn during our trip and Erica and Mike's family was so welcoming. Their children kindly played with our older son. This is really truly a family-friend place to stay! We plan to return in the summer months.

Exceptional

The breakfast was fantastic! The staff was very helpful, and the comfort of our stay was highly satisfying. We thoroughly enjoyed the short time we spent here. We highly recommend it!

Family of five for 1 night stay

Erica was a gracious host, our entire family felt right at home. The accomodations were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious (great job Mike!). I'd recommend the Inn on Golden pond to anyone needing to stay in the area, but especially to anyone that likes to learn a bit of local history and meet people when they travel, because this is a great Inn with amazing hosts.

This is an old house carefully upgraded to provide modern amenities while staying true to its history. We loved that about our stay. If you are expecting a hotel experience, this is different, but exactly what a bed and breakfast should be.

The most welcoming - wonderful accommodations- they have thought of everything & everyone- including your furry family members!

Lovely quirky spot in Holderness on beautiful 'Little' Lake Squam run by charming young couple.

Lovely quirky spot in Holderness (where On Golden Pond was filmed) on beautiful 'Little' Lake Squam - which is big but not by comparison to other nearby lakes. The area is full of lakes and is beautiful for walking, boating, etc.. and our Inn has it's own private beach 4 min walk away with paddle boards for guests - I swam - Heavenly! The owners are a charming young couple with 3 young children who somehow provide delicious huge freshly cooked breakfasts, good coffee and great advice about where to visit. As with all the places we stayed, guests were chatty and interesting. Our room was in a separate building which was nice and private - decent king bed and cosy decor - bathroom and shower could have been a little better appointed but that's a small aside. There's plenty to do in the area on the lakes, walks, and visiting nearby pretty towns - local restaurants vary but we ate really well twice at nearby Inn & Kitchen - delicious, ,causal but slightly more sophisticated than other places, and fantastic farm to table 30 mins drive in Rochester, called Maple Soul - well worth a detour, book ahead - small casual and great fresh food - big portions.

We really enjoyed our stay at this inn. The room was updated, spacious, and clean. There are coffees and muffins available any time. The breakfast was really delicious. I think the ingredients such as eggs were from their own chickens. There were many old photos on the dining room wall. I enjoyed reading the stories of the four generations of the owners of this inn. The hostess Erika and her father Paul were great people.

Wonderful Inn

Wonderful stay at the Inn on Golden Pond. Beautiful property. Completely renovated Inn. We stayed in Mink Island..large room, immaculate and comfortable. The owners, Erica and Mike, were very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, and made to order. The best part was the Inn is dog friendly. Being able to bring our dog with us, and to have her treated so well, made for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!
