We loved the Inn and the city.

The cocktail hour meeting with other guests.

The breakfasts were outstanding , but a little too much for our senior appetites.

First visit to Gelena, it was the perfect place to stay.

Location was perfect. Made it easy to get around a town we never been to. Room was quiet and peaceful. Bathroom was awesome. Seating around the place was nice.

Nice property, very comfortable. The proprietor was exceptional. Very friendly and welcoming. The afternoon cocktail and appetizers hour was a wonderful touch. It was indeed a great way to meet other vacationers and was relaxing. The cheese plates were exceptionally good. In addition to gushing over cocktail hour, breakfasts were the best we have ever enjoyed. Three or four courses, all creative and delicious. My wife’s ingredient request was cheerfully accommodated. I very highly recommend this delightful B&B!

Really nice stay!

Everything! The host is super nice, accommodation looks great and the location is quiet but super close to the main road.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was absolutely perfect: the room was cozy, beautiful, and spotlessly clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the hospitality made us feel truly at home. A special thank you for the breakfast—it was an absolute delight. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious, just like in a fine restaurant. It was the perfect way to start each morning. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We would be happy to stay here again and will gladly recommend this place to others.

Awesome stay on Galena, IL

I really enjoyed the beautiful room we stayed at in the Bed & Breakfast. The room and bed were comfortable and we kept the window open to enjoy the room in the Ms McClellan historical bedroom. The breakfast was the best at any B&B I have ever stayed at! My wife and I were amazed of the quality and quantity of the gourmet breakfast.

We had a great stay. We would stay there again.

The location is perfect and it is a very beautiful house. The host was very friendly and prepared a great breakfast and offered us some wine and cheese after our hike, before we went to dinner.

the bathroom was a little small, with the sink in the room, but that wasn't really a problem. The bed was big and good. The breakfast was served at 8:30am for everyone. For us this timing worked perfectly, but maybe not for everybody.

Charming house close to downtown.

Nice home with great living room for guests to use. Comfortable bed, nice neighborhood, excellent breakfast and very nice hostess. The outdoor areas would be great in warm weather.

Exceptional. Attention to detail and so welcoming.

Everything was incredible, better than I hoped for. New owners doing extensive updates, including a sauna and hot tub. Our host, Amal, couldnt have been more welcoming. She made us feel at home the moment we walked through the front door. Sat on the screened porch and enjoyed a happy hour of wine and a cheese plate. Breakfast was exceptional and homemade. Gingerbread muffins were a family recipe and reminded me of my Grandma's cooking. Definitely returning to see all of the updates and to be treated like a queen.

Close to Main Street. The bed was very comfortable. Nice size room. Loved the porch with the swing. I don’t have anything bad to say about this property. Happy hour was a nice touch! Loved the breakfast!
