Overall, we were disappointed with our stay, especially considering how much we paid.
The place looked fancy from the outside, and it definitely has a nice location.
The cleanliness of the room was questionable. We were on a road trip through California and stayed at 6 different places. This was by far the worst bed we experienced during our entire trip. The bedding was really itchy, with a scratchy blanket and a large pillow that clearly couldn’t be washed. The air in the room felt dusty.

We loved the overall experience of the resort. I felt like were at the resort from Dirty Dancing - everything was there - activities/ games room; library; pool; spac. It was beautiful in a lovely setting. Everything was so easy - it's all there! The wonderful staff organised for us a tour guide into the Park - she was wonderful.
I understand that there are hikes and the 'great outdoors' - but I missed the TV at night to fall off to sleep with. It was disappointing that the Spa didn't have staff to enable us to book treatments. We were told it wasn't peak season - but the hotel was booked to capactity. The spa room with the showers; steam and sauna were nice - but we were looking forward to some massages after our long flight from Australia. After a few days I got sick of the menu. Breakfast however, was amazing.

Amenities for the price are basic. No use of spa included for guests already paying a lot per night. Would be included at most hotels. Tea and coffee provided in bedroom however no milk. I asked at the reception desk if they could give us some milk and they said we had to buy it. To me this is crazy considering the room rate. Shower knob was very wobbly and housekeeping was always too late in the day after we had got back from day hikes and want to relax.

The amenities were fantastic, so much to see and do. Our room was beautiful, an indoor fireplace, king size bed, in a caving amongst the trees.

We absolutely loved Rush Creek Lodge. The location is superb, with a 1 1/2 mile drive to the Yosemite National Park sign and the gates just beyond. Since it takes over an hour to drive to the Yosemite Valley once you enter the gates, it would be a very long journey if staying far from the entrance. The resort itself was clean and comfortable, with our king room being very spacious and a welcome respite after a park day. The food was great, albeit expensive, but understandable once you realize just how far they have to truck food in. The gift shop was the best we've seen, with nice quality souvenirs available and grab and go items. We would stay here again.
We are not tv watchers, but if you are there is no tv. Instead there is Alexa, which we used to play music in the room.

Great Resort close to Yosemite
This is an outstanding resort that we thoroughly enjoyed. It is so close to Yosemite that it made it extremely convenient. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant and tavern were excellent; great food and great service. The room was very large and comfortable. We didn't have young children with us, but I can see where kids would love this place. With all of the planned activities for children, they would never be bored. The pool and hot tubs were great, plus they had zip lines for the kids.
It would have been nice to have dairy creamer instead of the powdered creamer in the room. The Kuerig made great coffee, just the creamer was lacking. That's the only negative I can think of. They do have the general store where you could get full coffee service. So it was only an issue if you wanted to get out early, before the general store openned at 6:30.

Very nice stay. The lodge offers a lot of amenities and beautiful ambiance.
There was no TV and the bed was a little uneven, but otherwise it was a very nice stay.

We were in a 2 bedroom villa and could hear the people above us walking around. As a result, all 5 of us were up at 6:30am which was a big bummer!
