A lovely perch from with to explore the many pleasure of Greenville.

The breakfasts were over-the-top Southern hospitality. However, my husband and I don't generally eat sweets and our hostess observed me picking over my cinnamon-toast pancakes (slathered in sugary topping), she kindly offered something more protein-based the following morning. We also enjoyed the common table and conversing with the other guests, and the wine and cheese in the garden was a nice touch.

The room, while clean, had lots of artificial flower arrangements that were full of dust (to which I am allergic). I am tall, and I noticed the tops of things were also dusty. The bathroom, however, was spotless.

The bed was so comfortable and breakfast was delicious.

Pettigru Place is a lovely historical home very close to all the action in downtown Greenville and the Swamp Rabbit Greenway. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was over the top creative and delicious and plenty of it! We also enjoyed the afternoon complimentary wine and cheese. Most of the rooms have a private balcony and the gardens are so beautiful and well maintained. Each room is decorated differently and tastefully with good size bathrooms and showers. I can't say enough wonderful things about this gorgeous bed and breakfast.

One of my favorite places to stay in Greenville. It is such a quaint bed and breakfast despite how close it is to downtown. Excellent service and amazing accommodations.

The place was beautiful! And the sevice was excellent, really enjoyed our stay.

Staff prepared amazing multi-course breakfasts and welcomed 1-2 visitors to join guest breakfasts for nominal fee.

Unbelievably wonderful

Some things in life are too good to be true, and this B&B is one of them. It’s an actual, traditional B&B with absolutely gorgeous rooms and delicious breakfast. The service is so wonderful and personal it is beyond belief. I hardly write reviews but had to write one for Pettigru, and I haven’t even left the property yet.

No negatives, except the pillows were a little puffy for me!

A Charming Cozy Stay

A charming and cozy stay! Pettigru Place Bed and Breakfast is absolutely amazing—beautifully decorated, warm, and welcoming. It’s even better than the pictures and conveniently located close to downtown Greenville, SC. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, making it a perfect getaway. My only small recommendation would be to tone down the sugar at breakfast. While the pancakes were delicious, the cinnamon topping was a bit too sweet for my taste—maybe offer it on the side?

We had a wonderful time! Our hearts are warm with such wonderful hosts and the breakfast for 2 mornings were delicious! Lori was so kind to make one more panecka. Dutch dish so sweet of her ! Thank you for taking care of us.
