Great peaceful place to stay with a wonderful host.

Peggy was an amazing host. She made us feel at home and welcomed our dog with open arms. She gave us great recommendations for nearby dog-friendly restaurants and breakfast was great including local specialties. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with a peaceful balcony overlooking the river. Overall a great place to stay.

Nothing to complain about. Maybe just that the driveway was a bit cramped to accomodate several cars, depending on the number of guests.

Beautifully furnished and maintained home, lovely innkeeper. Nice town.

The home is beautiful, the family suite we stayed in was HUGE and immaculate. The hosts provided many things to make the visit comfortable and fun, including games and movies and snacks, and they provided us a lovely breakfast for the road, as we had to leave early for an event. The location is very convenient and walkable to restaurants and town and the beautiful river walk.

We will return as we enjoyed a fabulous stay!!!

Peggy, the Innkeeper, was awesome! Peggy kindly made us a delicious hot breakfast. A special treat was Peggy joined us at breakfast and enjoyed a cup of coffee while we enjoyed most interesting conversation together. This home is decorated in a Victorian theme beautifully. We stayed once before and it was a "no brainer" to decide to stay again. I cannot say enough great things about The Loft. This will be our home whenever we visit the Clearfield area! Thank you, Peggy, for making us feel so welcome!

Bed and breakfasts are a dying industry and so it's always lovely to stay in one but this one in particular was exceptional. It was a delight to talk to Peggy, the home is so cozy and comfortable and the breakfast that Peggy whipped up was absolutely delicious. We even got herbal tea the night we arrived. Absolutely lovely stay!

Family style breakfast with other guests and host. Fresh coffee, fresh fruit, ham, and pancakes were very good. Beautiful Victorian home in excellent condition that is decorated with period correct furnishings. Great place to stay when going to a Penn State game (only about 50 minutes from Penn State). A/C and whirlpool tub were a pleasant surprise.

Treat yourself to an adventure in a quaint town. Every detail of this place is done with thought and love. The breakfast is the best and Peggy is a delightful host. We loved every minute of it!

Everything was better than could be imagined.

A beautiful 1890s house overlooking the Susquehanna River. The host was quite friendly, gave local restaurant recommendations, and, when I declined the normal breakfast offering since I had to get on the road by 6 a.m., she even fixed me a bag full of marvelous to-go breakfast items: muffins, fruit, a sandwich, yogurt.
