Exactly what I was looking for

We are just back from a great 10 night stay in one of the Suite tents. The tent choice was a “splurge” for us, but for how long we were there it was perfect giving us room to spread out. We were fortunate to get a tent with a view of the river and it was lovely to wake up and see the Sandhill Cranes flying off for the day. The wood burning stoves did a good job of warming the tent, but as others noted they won’t last all night. That said we were perfectly comfortable sleep. A few mornings were a bit chilly but we figured out a routine that worked and recommend showering in the evening as the tents are warmer from the day. I would also recommend ear plugs because of it is windy the canvas can be noisy. The staff was lovely and very helpful., especially Rio and Jasmine. There was a relaxed atmosphere in the main tent where the restaurant and fire pits are located. Food in the restaurant was very good for the small kitchen and location. Anyone considering staying should keep in mind that this is extremely well appointed, comfort camping and not a luxury hotel in the outdoors. And it EXCELS at it!

The most cozy and relaxing stay! 10 out of 10!

Everyone was so nice and accommodating. This was our last night before flying home to Kentucky after traveling through at staying in the park at Yellowstone. This was our favorite night. The bed was so comfy and cozy and we built a fire in the wood stove. Overall a perfect night!

More variety in the restaurant would have been nice.

This was a great experience. Wherever I go, I will look and see if there is an Under Canvas nearby.

The location was great, the food was outstanding, but most importantly the staff were the best. I had just got engaged and came with my fiancé, and the team (especially Zach) found a solution to everything. Thank you!

The absolutely only thing I can write here is that the temperature of the shower was difficult to regulate. However, we managed.

Nice experience, camping made easy for you

Friendly staff, good location, the food was good as well. The setup of the outdoor dining area and pit fire was nice. Live music was great addition to some evenings. The dark sky gives you the opportunity to really enjoy the stars. There were some hammocks to relax between the campsite and the river. Good mountains view.

The shower and tap mechanisms were not comfortable, using one hand to pull or push them while being able to wash only one hand at a time or shower with one hand. The chairs inside the tent were not comfortable at all. The transport cars are very dusty and will always leave dirt on your clothes and luggage. The road that leads to the camping site could be asphalt instead of dirt road.

Nice spot for one night and nice experience for that. Overpriced

VERY slow service for food and beverage. When I say SLOW, I mean REALLY slow. Bed quite uncomfortable. Understaffed for what they advertise. Cost is not worth the avg service etc.

Terrible food and beverage service. Not a lot of experience dealing with issues. Saw lots of excuses and not much resolutions. Many apologies to guests.

Great "full service" glamping experience with family or friends!

Under Canvas is a wonderful glamping experience! We were greeted with a smile and professionalism. Keith, the manager, could not have been more kind, helpful and informative. Our only regret is we only had one night to glamp! The food was delicious. The outside firepits and seating inside and out was welcoming. The hammocks under the trees were a nice touch. Worth every bit.

I never like driving on gravel roads and potholes but the desintation made it tolerable.

Rustic but comfortable.

Quiet, well maintained

Had to keep food in the car

The perfect glamping

You felt like part of a homestead community. Also, Service was very attentive.

I did not like having to wake up in the morning and making a fire to warm up the tent but I see the charm about it.

Stunning but overpriced and disappointed about our camera not being returned.

The tents and facilities within were lovely along with the property and communal areas.

The food was mediocre and we also left a camera in the tent which apparently was never found even though it was on the bedside table and we only notice an hour later.

Rejuvinating, peaceful, relaxing, inspiring

Gorgeous, stunning location, friendly staff, cozy comfortable tents and did I mention the LOCATION?

Perhaps more food options, but that was to be expected

We were there the last week of their season. That night temps dropped to 39 which is not their fault. That being said, there should be additional blankets as the wood burning stove can’t accommodate enough wood to last but a couple of ours. This meant you if you wanted to stay warm, you had to get up to add wood every couple of hours. Being cold is an understatement. I’d recommend late spring or early fall if you plan to visit. It’s a charming place with a great view and a very cute setup but weather should definitely be considered.

Great all around! Good service, friendly, and accommodating. Pet-friendly and comfortable in all areas!

A great experience

The stars, the river, 2 bald eagles in next field, the fun of being under canvas but in a lovely plush hotel like bed… meeting other travellers around camp fires

Nothing really … would be nice if it was closer to Yellowstone but that would not put me going again

If you'd like a different experience from the usual hotel, Under Canvas is a great option. It's an opportunity to maximize an outdoor experience while not having to sleep on the ground. You can't be an idle participant. You have to keep your stove stoked in cooler conditions. You're "roughing it" just a little bit. The location in North Yellowstone was fantastic - on the Yellowstone River (fishing friendly) - and the drive to either the north gate at Yellowstone Park or Livingston was easy. The staff is fantastic. Meeting fellow campers is a treat. A great experience.

The property itself was very unique; the food and views were two of the best things about the stay. The stove was dirty and the filter was clogged along with wet wood, did not fare well to start a fire and stay warm. My husband is no dummy either, being stationed in Alaska he knows how to build fires. Everyone we spoke with had the same complaints. Additionally, another guest and myself wanted to order breakfast at 955a, they would not allow it or even to order a morning drink. They said they were closed. We both stated, we have 5 min to spare. Poor customer service at this location to say the least. Do not let them fool you either, they dont' "book" any adventures for you, they google and give you phone numbers to call. Talking with the locals, they state that this location hasn't been around long and that the turnover is extremely high. Hopefully the other locations are better. Would not book at this one again.
