The morning kitchen staff were great, food was solid, and the complimentary coffee was fabulous. The tents were sturdy, and the interior appointed well. Towels were nice and the bed linens were fantastic at keeping us from freezing to death! The rugged water fixtures provided warm water for showers/hand washing quite quickly, but to shower you have to hold down a pull with one hand and wash with the other :( A guest artist was playing guitar Saturday night, and that was fun. It was also great to see so many guests with their dogs :)
BE ADVISED on the following; There is NO electricity in these units!!, which is camping to me, NOT GLAMPING!! Each unit has a fire stove, with wood and kindling provided, but the stoves are smoky and we went to our next location smelling quite mesquite! My husband had to get up up every couple of hours to add wood...no sleeping for him. We woke up to 2 days where it was 38* ALSO, we stayed October 9-11, 2026, and paid $750 per night!! Our choice, as part of our Fall Foliage adventure from CA, but upon further investigation we are now aware this is about double the going rate, and that feels pretty crappy!
The location! The stars were amazing! Exactly what I wanted for glamping!
Wonderful
Friendly staff, went the extra mile
Not a lot of on site activities
Can't Wait to Come Back!
Our family and friends had two tents in early June at the Under Canvas location in Acadia. My biggest regret is that we only booked it for one night!! We really didn't know what to expect (hadn't been glamping before) and were under a time constraint, but we realized the minute we pulled up that this was going to be a special experience. The staff was incredibly helpful (special shout out to Danny who showed us around the location, took us to our tent, and even showed us how to get the wood-burning stove going). JJ, Sydney, Allison and Lisa also gave our group extra care, attention, help and kindness during our visit. Dinner and smores were excellent, but so was just chilling out and drinking a local Maine beer in the courtyard by the Ocean. We can't wait to go back- one of our best and most unique Hyatt Experiences ever!
A bit expensive for the facilities. Location is the highlight, amazing staff.
Location
Value for money and the comfort standards
The property is gorgeous and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely a fun/different experience.
You can hear every semi loud noise from the surrounding tents. We were woken up by children crying multiple times throughout one night because of the close proximity.
