EricCouple · October 2026★ 1.5Won't stay again.
It was cute.
There were about a million places to stub your toe in the room. I almost fell down the steps coming from the bathroom at night. Both the wife and I both slept terrible. Oh and the toilet was so low to the ground if you have any type of disability you might have a hard time getting up and down from the toilet.
JoanneCouple · October 2026★ 4.0Bkfst was nothing to write home about. B&B’s are much more of bkfst. Couple mouthful quiche 😳. Peanut butter no bread
First room we were assigned to The Garden room we walked in the two sitting chairs swivel? were filthy dirty stained. We demanded a new room which Megan was able to provide TG and did it with a smile Inn did NOT appear to be on busy street/highway on website

Ruben DarioCouple · October 2026★ 5.0Beautiful and spiritual
Breakfast was too sweet for my taste, but it was good.
I cannot think of anything I dislike.
MaryCouple · September 2026★ 4.0We would stay here again and enjoy the location.
The breakfast was good. There was a variety to choose from. The coffee was excellent.
Everything was fine. The room was a good size and the bathroom was fairly clean.

Tour152173Couples · July 2026★ 5.0Tanglewood Area Visit
Great small little inn! Rooms are spacious, well appointed, all with little private sitting area outside. We stayed in the Tanglewood room. Is dog friendly although didnt bring pup, maybe next time. Not much in the little town but Great coffee shop just around the corner. We ventured to Lenox, Lee, Stockbridge and Great Barrington. And very close to Tanglewoods, which is reason for stay. Very close and easy exit. Will be back!!
D2560STthomaspFamily · July 2026★ 5.0I need quiet and peace...
I thought I would do a quick getaway destination of quaint W. Stockbridge. This place is very well landscaped. The grounds are immaculate and clean. The pace in West Stockbridge is a little more laid back (which is what I was looking for).I recommend this place to any one who is in need of getting away from the hassle and hustle and bustle of the city. Noise level very low, rooms are spotless and inviting. I can't say enough about this place.
JamesCouple · June 2026★ 4.5This is a great value and lovely surroundings.
Breakfast was delightful. Grounds very pretty. Liked having so much space...not just a bedroom. Well equipped kitchen area
AngieSolo traveller · June 2026★ 5.0A relaxing and hassle-free stay that made my trip even better.
Extremely painless check-in. It was nice having breakfast available, and it was really good.
Nothing significant. The stay met my expectations
williamq598Family · June 2026★ 5.0Perfect stay in the Berkshires with my 91 year old mom.
We took my 91 year old mom to the Berkshires to visit the Norman Rockwell Museum. Our stay was perfect ! The room was immaculate and the grounds were so well kept. Te owners were also very helpful and attentive. Highly recommend !!!
FrancesExtended group · June 2026★ 5.0We were extremely pleased with the Shaker Mill Inn and have already recommended it to friends.
We very much liked the clean, quiet, attractive, comfortable room- which was larger than we expected- and the amenities. We were happy that the check-in time was 3:00. It was also very close to the Norman Rockwell Museum, for an opening we were attending.
We were not interested in the breakfast and didn't touch it- it would have been more appetizing if it had included fresh muffins or rolls.
DonCouple · June 2026★ 5.0Shaker Mill Inn was wonderful for an anniversary celebration
Location was convenient. Decor fit the historical building. Enjoyed having a balcony to be outside. Breakfast was tasty and healthy. Room was clean and comfortable.
MariyaK630Family · May 2026★ 4.0Stockbridge Get-Away (West side)
Homey, comfy and family friendly. Speechless about everything that were well thought stayers may need. Maybe add placemats for eating, check goodies for freshness and cleaned carpet or get a replacement for the one we stayed in (Clark). Overall, the location, hosts and atmosphere were great! We felt very safe.
MariaCouple · May 2026★ 4.0It was quiet and comfortable.
Everything was well thought off for vacationers from bottle openers to lights on the steps for safety. The place feels very homey and quaint.
The breakfast “goodies” should be checked twice. We had the spoiled strawberries containing molds and a stale donut like bread on the table was stale. At first, it would look like the place is sparkling clean but not up close. I accidentally dropped my earring lock and when we looked for it, the carpet needed washing, thorough vacuuming or replacement. We have a small hypoallergenic dog, a Cotton de Tulear, so we know those hairs didn’t belong to him. It was filled with crumbs, keeble (out dog does not eat those) and dusty. Also, maybe add placemats for and plug ins to keep the room smelling extra fresh.
MarkSolo traveller · May 2026★ 2.5UNHAPPY DURING SHORT STAY
Room and snacks were ok but not the same as continental breakfast. Everything was clean and bed was fine.
Check in was confusing; and not having personal connection was not welcoming. (Did get info about something on the phone.) Welcoming mat in room was not safe and slid a few times. Didn't feel safe in shower because of drain position. Cost was higher than what was provided. Suggestions: seat/railing for shower and night light for bathroom.
Explore04839240538Couples · May 2026★ 5.0Couldn't have been better!
We loved our stay at the Shaker Mill Inn! Many hotel rooms make me feel claustrophobic, but this one (the Clark room) was so spacious, it felt more like a home. The bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed our delicious breakfast in our room at our own small breakfast table and enjoyed sitting outside when the weather was warm. The Inn is close to many places to visit such as the Norman Rockwell Museum and the Hancock Shaker Village. It's also close, a very short walk, to a delightful bookstore, Shaker Mill Books! Unfortunately, the restaurant next door was closed when we wanted to go, but Megan gave us the perfect recommendation for our anniversary dinner - Once Upon a Table in Stockbridge! We hope to come back and stay another time. We've been telling everyone we know about it!
JeffreyCouple · May 2026★ 4.5Quaint, clean and comfy place to stay
The area was very nice, they offered a fine breakfast in your room, it was waiting for you, and we had a few choices. The folks who ran the inn did everything to make sure our stay was good.
The bed could use a memory foam cover underneath, but that's just my preference.
