All was fine
Beds were comfortable, tv had lots of channels, liked the Keurig machine in the room. Good location for those wanting to experience the mountains.
It wasn't that I didn't like this, but it is an older place, don't expect Trump Tower accommodations. Was nice though.
A wonderful, relaxing weekend filled with good conversations and great adventures.
Loved how peaceful the experience was. The cabin is what I expect when I plan on staying in a cabin in the Adirondacks. It's cozy and doesn't need a whole lot of special amenities.
The shower need to have a plastic shower curtain liner. The cloth one there gets soaked and drips onto the floor and the water also goes out through the mesh. By the time I got out of the shower, there was a puddle on the floor.

The room was spacious and decorated to make us feel right at home. Even though the WiFi worked great, we enjoyed the firepit outside both nights we were there. The facilities were clean and beds very comfortable. Parking for Cedar was big enough for our little trailer and Jeep to fit.

If you’re looking for 5 star accommodation, this place isn’t for you. But if you’re after a rustic, good value for money place close to hiking trails, then I highly recommend. The owners had excellent communication right from booking & it has all amenities you could need. Cute & comfortable suitable for up to six people.
Great spot close to everything!
I really loved these cabins! They feel so private. Comfy beds, coffee, cream and everything else I needed. Definitely very clean. So close to everything!

Needs more light in living area and fan for each room as no air conditioning. Also provide a trash can outside to dispose of dog waste.
Great time at Wilderness Inn, tamarack cabin
We booked the tamarack cabin. It was perfect for the 4 of us. And a wonderful location. Close to High falls gorge, Ausable chasm, and whiteface mt. The time we were there was quiet and peaceful.
It had unmet potential.
It was quiet and wooded. The bathroom was somewhat updated and very functional. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and the WiFi was excellent.
There was no manager on the property. It was somewhat ramshackle, not well-maintained. As there was no air conditioning, we tried to open some windows, but the screens had large gaps so bugs were able to get in. There was also what appeared to be syrup spilled on the coffee bar, the floor and all over the inside of the refrigerator, which we cleaned. The fan provided did not work properly so thankfully we brought several of our own which helped with the extreme heat.
Location of the property is very close to mirror lake and all lake placid attractions. Yet it is outside the town and away from usual commercial hustle bustle to provide wilderness charm and setting.
Cute and charming chalet off of Whiteface Mountain
Quaint, simple and well located right near the mountain at a reasonable price. The apartment itself could have used 1 more light but otherwise it had all you needed.

We had a short stay at the cabins but it was amazing, they were very cozy and warm. Yann was very accommodating. It is very close to Whiteface mountain. I would definitely recommend.

What a lovely place!
I found that these cottages are Adirondacks real gem. Located in a beautiful setting, close to both Wilmington and Lake Placid, to tons of beautiful trails and sightseeing spots. Very warm ( which is super important for the end of October), comfortable, with excellent Wi-Fi. Our 2 - bedroom cottage Spruce had a fully stocked kitchen and 2 washrooms. Communication with the owner was super easy. Yann kindly accommodated our medical request. Our dog also enjoyed the property. We highly recommend this place and plan to come back.
The second bedroom in the Spruce cottage had a door outside and may be colder in winter months. Didn’t bother us though, since it wasn’t too cold outside , and there is a space heater provided ( which we didn’t use at the end of October).
